TERMS AND CONDITIONS Public Courses
1. Bookings should be made initially by telephone and then confirmed by completing our Booking Form.
2. Full payment for the course should be made at the time of completing the Booking Form and prior to the start of
the course.
3. Once confirmation and payment is received, Joining Instructions and directions for the course, together with a
receipt for your payment will be forwarded by return.
4. Special arrangements can be made for companies who require an invoice prior to sending the payment.
5. Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer your booking to another date, please ensure that at least
7 working days notice are given prior to the start of the original course booked. This request should be confirmed
in writing. Should a booking be transferred to an alternative date within 7 days of the start of the course, a charge
may be incurred.
6. Should you need to change the name of the candidate attending a course, please ensure that at least 3 working
days notice is given prior to the start of the course.
7. If a candidate does not attend a course and no substitute is sent, a charge of 50% of the course fees will be
made and the balance will be held in credit for a maximum of 3 months. Our company policy is not to give refunds
under normal circumstances.
8. We reserve the right to cancel any course if there are insufficient numbers to run a viable course. In such
circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and the offer of a transfer to another course date, or a
full refund of fees paid.
In-house Courses
1. A booking for an in-house course should be made initially by telephone. We will then confirm all the details to
you in writing.
2. Once you receive our confirmation, please complete and return our Booking Form together with a deposit of
10% of the total cost.
3. You will be charged for the agreed minimum number of candidates, even if the final number of candidates is
less than this number.
4. We will invoice you for our services following the course and this invoice should be paid in full within 28 days of
the course.
5. Certificates will not be issued until full payment is received.
6. If you have to cancel a course, the following cancellation charges will apply:
• More than 4 weeks prior to the course No Charge
• 2-4 weeks prior to the course 50% of the total course fee
• Less than 2 weeks prior to the course Full Charge
7. Under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 it is the responsibility of our customers to provide a safe
working environment for the training course to take place.
