Working safely at Height.


Falls from height remains the single most frequent cause of fatal injuries and major injuries in the workplace. Employers and duty holders have a duty to protect anyone who might be exposed to these risks by ensuring that any form of work at height is planned, supervised and carried out safely. The Working at Height Regulations 2005 amend and consolidate all previous legislation dealing working at height, and apply to all workplaces and temporary or mobile construction sites.


The aim of the course is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of working at height, including legislation, safety requirements and working methods.

Who should attend:

This course is essential for those who plan, carry out or supervise work at height. It is ideal for designers, facilities managers, supervisors, employees and employers.

  • Safe use of ladders.
  • Safe use of M.E.W.P.S.
  • Safe use of Scaffolds.
  • Safe use of Mobile Tower scaffolds.
  • Working safely on roofs.
  • Fall protection systems and components.
  • Work at rescue procedures.
  • Summary.
  • Assessment  written test


Candidates will be issued with a BLE training certificate upon successful completion of written test and training course.
